Sad no incoming or outgoing calls, all incoming forwarded
Posted by: sam1962 - Yesterday, 06:31 PM - Forum: DUO Troubleshooting - No Replies

solid green lights front & back with pulsing yellow in back. no h/w or s/w changes.

wired duo to router. got enough bandwidth for me & you & a couple of others.

unable to connect with chat for 3 weeks.  clicking on chat does absolutely nothing. no way to report a problem.

i was able to make calls but not leave messages up until today, 25mar2017.  i was also occasionally getting calls.

i have 9 months left on current contract.  been happy with nettalk for several years, but this last year has been fraught with problems.

anyone got any ideas.  help PLEASE.

  Nettalk is auto forwarding?
Posted by: jjmoose - Yesterday, 06:24 PM - Forum: DUO Troubleshooting - Replies (1)

My Net-talk was functioning normally until a day or so ago.

I can dial out but all calls that are incoming are redirecting to my secondary
phone in the dash board.

They are not set to auto forward. I even deleted the forwarding number and the phone would not
pickup the call. it would go to voice mail.

Have reset many times and phone lights up for a second when i reset but doesn't get the ring
that normally accompanies the rest.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

End Time: March 21, 2017, 5:00:00 AM EST

IMPACT: There will be a very brief disruption in service. The Online Account Manager websites will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

nettalk duo does not recognize answering systems
Posted by: sam1962 - 03-15-2017, 03:22 PM - Forum: DUO Troubleshooting - No Replies

nettalk is not recognizing answering machines, or voicemail pick ups on unattended cell phones, or automated answering systems at vet or doctors' offices.  i am not able to leave a messages on these devices from nettalk.  my nettalk just keeps ringing.  i have been told that answering machines 'kick on' but nothing happens at the nettalk end.  this is a NEW problem.  i have made no equipment or setting changes.  this is more than a minor inconvenience as in my area 911 calls must go through an automated system, if there are handling multiple calls.  also, i have not found a way to activate chat through my nettalk account.  clicking on it does absolutely nothing.  anyone got ideas?  thanx.

  "Call Waiting" feature
Posted by: jmenardmtl - 03-11-2017, 04:41 AM - Forum: Feedback - Replies (5)

Since the server upgrade, I've had to change my voicemail greetings etc, which is ok.  But what about the Call Waiting feature?  A few people complained that they tried calling me during a specific time, and they ended up in my voicemail directly - I know they called while I was already on the phone, and never heard the "Call Waiting Beep".

To be sure, I called myself like I used to in the past to test my phone.  Well, my phone doesn't ring at all and it goes straight to the "Unavailable Greetings' voicemail".

What's happening NetTalk?  Have you removed the call waiting feature without prior notice?

Thank you for your prompt response to this matter.

  call drops after 15 minutes
Posted by: Dennis.Ballinger - 03-08-2017, 02:53 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (7)

Has anyone had a call drop consistently after 15 minutes? I have checked everything on the router and even talked to Windstream, they claim it's not on their end. Does anyone have any ideas why this suddenly started happening?

For the last couple of days with all of my DUO's with subscriptions is getting "Please add talk credit...". The DUO's seems to be working fine I can receive calls, so I am wondering if there is global issue. Is anybody else having problems.

The number you have dialed is currently unavailable
Posted by: kjmiles - 03-01-2017, 12:09 AM - Forum: DUO Troubleshooting - Replies (1)

I have read this from other people in the past. I have consistently been calling the 912 area code since I've had Nettalk for almost a year and half. The last week or two, I either get a busy signal or that the number I've dialed is currently unavailable. Yet, when I call seconds later from my cell phone, there's no issue. I've unplugged the Duo several times to restart but has not worked. What can be done about this issue?

  Is this forum still active?

Is this forum still active? Is NetTalk/NetConnect still answering questions here because I see no new activity since December? I posted a question a month ago about purchasing another account and even that hasn't been answered. Is this forum just a data base now?
