  Is this forum still active?
Posted by: Winterlight - 02-23-2017, 04:25 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (2)

Is this forum still active? Is NetTalk/NetConnect still answering questions here because I see no new activity since December? I posted a question a month ago about purchasing another account and even that hasn't been answered. Is this forum just a data base now?

re-activation of account / and edit number name
Posted by: Winterlight - 01-27-2017, 04:09 AM - Forum: First Time Setup - No Replies

I currently have an active wireless  account, and I also have an inactive account that I let expire a year ago when I didn't need it. Now I want to activate that account. I have the original SIM so all I have to do is click on Renew and make a payment to activate it ...correct?

Also when you create an account you can give it a name. I have a duo and two wireless numbers which all have the name I gave them when I created them.  Is there anyway to edit/change  the name once you have assigned it to a number?

Thanks w

  new DUOII static and buzzing
Posted by: genocc - 12-26-2016, 04:10 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (1)

Your home phone should be at least 5 meters away from the devices... Edison@netTALK

This was the answer when I contacted netTalk support... anybody else ever hear of this or the answer a crock?

problem reported was:
with new DUO II... call quality is terrible, just picking up and listen to dial tone you get bursts of static, sometimes low but sometimes very shrill.... and after a bit it seems to have a repetitive rattle every second... 1 second of normal dial tone, 1 second of rattle w/dial tone over and over again... now and then dial tone loudness goes soft and then comes back full tone .... we are still resetting every am as calls are also not getting answered but now light has always been green and steady every am

I went to activate my nettalk Duo tonight, it will no make calls or recieve calls, I think it's an issue with the new phone number as the light turns red as I try to call out and can not get any ringing trying to call in? I got this to replace a tk6000 and would like to port my number over soon as we get this figure out?

busy signal on all calls to my DUO number
Posted by: Winterlight - 12-07-2016, 02:23 PM - Forum: DUO WiFi/DUO II Troubleshooting - Replies (1)

Ten days ago I moved from one state to another. My Duo is paid up until 2018. I disconnected my NetTalk Duo assuming that all calls would go to voice mail until I got set up again. Today I realized that I have not received a single message.

I called my Duo number and all I get is a busy single .... why isn't it going to voice mail?

Also after logging into my account I can not chat or email tech support... it is not working. Is NetTalk still operating?
